UBU REX AI

UBU REX AI

The final concert of the XII Krzysztof Penderecki International Festival – level 320, which will take place on November 7th at 19:00, will begin with Ludwig van Beethoven’s Overture to the Ballet The Creatures of Prometheus, and will culminate with Antonín Dvořák’s joyful Symphony No. 8 in G major, filled with vigor and Slavic lyricism, performed by the Silesian Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the Festival’s director, the renowned conductor and musician of the Vienna Philharmonic, Jurek Dybał. This concert, titled UBU REX AI, will not only feature music but also a projection of an animated film created by artificial intelligence, synchronized live with the orchestra’s performance. The animation will accompany a grotesque suite from the opera Ubu Rex, composed by the Festival’s Patron. There will also be holographic surprises!

Although festival events have already taken place in Kraków and even in Vienna, for the first time – thanks to the cooperation with the Silesian Philharmonic – they will be held in the regional capital, Katowice. This is an event you must see, and most importantly, hear. Come and experience the grand finale of the XII Krzysztof Penderecki International Festival – level 320 – at the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice.
